Feather Client is one of the most popular Minecraft clients thanks to its clean interface, built-in mods, customizable HUD, and excellent PvP experience.
While Feather Client is designed for official Microsoft accounts, offline (cracked) accounts can still use its features, including the recognizable Feather nametag icon.
This guide will show you how to set everything up in just a few minutes using Prism Launcher.
What You’ll Need
- Prism Launcher (mobile not supported)
- Feather Client (mod)
- Fabric API
- Offline Nametag Icon (mod)
- Show Own Nametag (mod)
- Feather Nametag Icon (resource pack)

Step 1: Create a Prism Launcher Instance
Create a new Fabric instance using either:
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Minecraft 1.21.1
If you’re using an offline account, make sure you’ve already completed the Prism Launcher Offline Login guide available on the downloads page.
Step 2: Install the Mods
Import all downloaded mods and the included resource pack into your Prism Launcher instance.
After installation, launch Minecraft once to verify that every mod loads successfully.
TIPIf Minecraft starts without any missing dependency errors, you’re ready for the next step.
Step 3: Enable the Feather Icon
Join any world or multiplayer server.
Switch to Third Person View.
Initially, you’ll notice an ℹ icon beside your nametag.
Enable the included Feather Nametag Icon resource pack to replace it with the official Feather Client icon.
Step 4: Finished
Your offline account should now display the official Feather Client nametag icon.

No. This is a client-side mod setup. The icon is purely visual for you so that it looks cool in third-person view or in your own videos and streams. Other players will see your regular username.Which Minecraft versions are supported?
Currently Minecraft Fabric 1.20.1 & 1.21.1 are supported. I might update the Offline Nametag Icon mod in the future.
Why can't I see the Feather icon?
Check that:
- Every required mod is installed.
- The Feather Nametag Icon resource pack is enabled in your settings.
- You’re using a supported Minecraft version (1.20.1 or 1.21.1).
Can I use another launcher?
This guide only supports Prism Launcher because of how easily it handles offline profiles.
Is this safe to use on multiplayer servers?
